Coventry Iron Age Village

During the Summer of 2002 the KVL team took part in the archaeological excavation of the Westwood Sports Centre site near Coventry. The remains of 18 Iron Age features were found as contractors prepared the foundations for a new multipurpose sports pitch. The team produced daily visualisations of the site, enabling the archaeologists more effectively to interpret the site, and supporting their decision-making process during the short opportunity to excavate.
