A collaboration between King's Visualisation Lab and Humanities Informatics programme (INFOUMA) at the University of Pisa to provide a teaching and showcase area for MA students within Second Life, including a shared virtual centre (ARKETIPO) for exhibitions, conferences and meetings. Digital Humanities Island is used by Digital Humanities researchers worldwide for virtual exhibitions, real-time networking and live events.
